Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shop Technician to join our team.
As a Shop Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our shop and providing excellent customer service.
This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with customers, addressing their needs and concerns
- Perform administrative tasks such as processing transactions, maintaining records, and managing inventory
- Assist in training development for new employees
- Assist in recruiting and onboarding new team members
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and conducting regular audits
- Utilize retail math skills to calculate pricing, discounts, and sales totals
- Provide leadership and guidance to other team members
- Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized shop environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in a Shop or Mechanics role is preferred/Auto Mechanics/Maintenance Technician A HUGE PLUS
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in administrative tasks such as record keeping and inventory management
- Mechanical Knowledges Needed
- Training development experience is a plus
- Familiarity with inventory control procedures
- Knowledge of retail math calculations
- Leadership skills to guide and motivate team members
