Overview:
Under the direction of the Imaging Services Management Staff, manages daily operation of the department to include the technical and supportive staff and the physical plant in the general diagnostic and specialty areas.
Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
If practicing in Arkansas, a Radiologic Technologist License is required.
Experience: 3+ years RT experience.
Plus serves as clinical resource, acts as expert/problem-solver for internal/external issues, trains and orientates new co-workers, assists with performance evals, and holds coworkers accountable to quality and safety measures.
Certifications: Current ARRT Registry in Compliance with
Continuing Education.
Maintain CPR certification.
Other: Requires minor nursing skills.
Additional requirements: All categories of Level I, II, & III Radiologist Technologist Career Ladder are meet.
