The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the smooth and efficient management of multiple projects in order to help ensure deadlines and budgeting targets are met.
The Project Coordinator will work with the entire team including, but not limited to, Executive Team, Project Management Team, Estimating and Preconstruction Team and Finance Team.
The Project Coordinator will act as the liaison amongst the teams, being the main administrator of all project information from beginning to end of each project.
Assist the Executive, Project Management, Estimating, Preconstruction, Finance, and Executive Team Members in all administrative aspects of the project from beginning to end
Improve and maintain consistent and clear communication between all team members, as well as vendors, subcontractors, clients, etc.
Data entry and maintenance in various construction platforms to assist the teams in adhering to budgets and deadline
Swift resolution of issues as they arise, working with various team members
Various daily office administration, which may include receiving, distributing, and shipping of mail and packages, as well as other office administrative support, as needed
Monitor and provide updates on project timelines
Help identify and work through any potential issues or concerns that may arise before, during, and/or after the project, promptly assisting in the resolution of these issues professionally working with all levels of team mates, vendors, clients, subcontractors, etc.
Schedule meetings, prepare meeting agendas, maintain meeting minutes, as needed, on a regular basis
Qualifications
General understanding of general contracting and/or construction projects is preferred
Proficient written and verbal communication skills with all levels of team mates
Proficient in oral and written presentations
Ability to maintain confidential information
Ability to work independently, exercising independent judgment, as well as being able to be a team player
Strong organizational skills
Very strong ability to multi-task with attention to detail
Experience in developing and maintaining schedules
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 programs, such as Word, Excel, etc.
Experience in construction platforms (i.
e.
Procore, HCSS HeavyBid, IVO, etc.
) is preferred
Knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)
Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills
