We require the talent of a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team.
Under the leadership of the Maintenance Manager, the successful incumbent will be responsible for leading a team of trades employees, to ensure equipment is maintained efficiently, and kept in good repair, including but not limited to all mechanical, electrical, and automation technologies used to manufacture, package, store and ship products.

May be required to work flexible hours to support emergency and shift requirements
How you will make contributions that matter:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise the day-to-day activities of the maintenance team and provide guidance for troubleshooting and planned downtime and emergency response activities;
Provide oversight to ensure that plant equipment and maintenance systems function in an efficient & safe manner;
Track and trend work order performance using CMMS and ensure the availability of parts and appropriate tools
Administer preventative maintenance program to Reduce equipment downtime and improve machine efficiencies;
Leadership/Coaching of maintenance personnel through pro-active communication, employee involvement, participation, individual feedback;
Maintains inventory of spare parts, supplies and materials for critical maintenance repairs;
Ensures compliance with Health and Safety objectives while meeting maintenance performance targets.
You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
Post Secondary education in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Millwright or Electrician trades license, or related discipline, complimented with 5+ years of proven supervisor experience of engaging a team of senior tradespeople
Prior work experience in the pulp and paper industry is considered an asset.
Must be willing and available to support operations within in a 24/7 operation and demonstrates a sense of urgency to support with on call support and response for unplanned downtime;
Preventive Maintenance Planning experience, with experience with EAM and CMMS
Proven communication, problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Project
