We are hiring a Quality Manager to support our facility based in St Clair, MO.
The Quality Manager is a member of the site leadership team and will help to create a climate of trust, culture of continuous improvement, as well as help lead / support cross-functional and cross-team collaboration opportunities related to quality.
Responsibilities include:
Lead quality efforts by orienting, training, assigning, and coaching employees.
Partner with site leadership team in safety, quality, productivity, customer-service, security; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements.
Lead GDP & GMP related activities, by providing training and coaching.
Provide Engineering support for new product development and current product support activities.
Manage multi-shift 10+ crew operation, lab supervisory knowledge with advanced lab equipment like Gas & Liquid Chromatography.
Manage product quality inspection actions; assist in resolving product quality standard applications by examining and interpreting specifications and correcting vague references.
Lead efforts and help implement internal and external corrective actions.
Lead team efforts for collecting, analyzing and summarizing product quality results data and trends.
Provide training and development in problem solving methods, Design of Experiments (DoE), • Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Control Plans.
Responsible for Non-Conformance Material Reviews; lead team in developing and coordinating rework of materials while minimizing cost to company.
Supports LEAN concepts and other company standard practices and procedures.
Fulfill customer requirements relating to engineering or processing, (i.
e.
FMEA, flow charting, and problem solving)
Lead customer quality audits - whether it’s new customers or annual inspections, will be responsible for leading the location through these audits.
Maintain and develop Quality Management System for the facilities.
Strong continuous improvement background
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or chemistry or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years quality management related experience in metrics driven environment.
SAP knowledge is a plus
Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and cGMP standards
Training as an ISO 9000 Internal Auditor, CQE or CQA certifications preferred.
Excellent writing, communication, and Microsoft Office skills
