As a Technical Lead – Sample Prep, lead a team of Laboratory Associates in mycotoxin and food allergen sample preparation, ensuring timely and quality completion of activities.
Oversee equipment maintenance, manage resources efficiently, and drive continuous improvement initiatives for enhanced products and processes in a dynamic laboratory environment.
This is for our Romer Labs division which offers a broad range of innovative products and services covering mycotoxins, food pathogens, food allergens, gluten, GMO, veterinary drug residues and melamine.

Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of Laboratory Associates specializing in mycotoxin and food allergen sample preparation.
Ensure timely completion of sample prep activities, meeting both customer deadlines and internal quality standards.
Allocate and manage resources efficiently to support order processing.
Drive continuous improvement by sharing ideas for enhancements, discussing risks, and promoting process efficiency.
Perform and oversee equipment maintenance, calibration, verification, and repairs, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to manuals.
Maintain organized stock levels of raw materials and chemicals, communicating procurement needs for Analytical Services stock promptly.
