The Manager of Human Resources will be a leader in our organization and will be an integral part of driving culture and better our employees, customers, and the communities we serve.
The Manager of Human Resources will work in conjunction with senior Executive Leadership to bring innovation, procedural efficiencies, and cohesiveness to our human resource practices.
The Manager of Human Resources will ensure the functions of the office are aligned with the goals and objectives of the organization and support the various Area Managers across the business' divisions.
The Manager must be an independent thinker, charismatic with others and have an ability to listen, empathize, mobilize action, and respond appropriately.
The Manager of Human Resources must understand the Company's business, core competencies, and values while taking complete ownership of the onboarding, employment, and retention process.
The position is based out of our Corporate office in Union, MO and the candidate is expected to be present at the Corporate office daily during the workweek.

Follows directions of Executive Leadership and clarifies responsibilities if Takes ownership of team and everything HR.
Respects self, co‐workers, managers, company, other contractors, and Adaptable in methods used to complete Communicate effectively both written and Develops & implements policies, programs and practices that support a people driven culture.
Promote employee relations, retention, and communications.
Recruiter of talent Focus on positive employee experiences through recognition and other programs.
Develop employees through mentoring and inclusion.
Streamline onboarding process for improved employee experience.
Ability to write policy and procedures.
Looks to understand downstream effects of actions.
Embraces being part of cross functional team and recognizes different perspectives.
Remains up to date on changes in employment law across various states to ensure policies are in accordance with all applicable regulations.
Review benchmarking data and implement key metrics to improve the Company's culture and retention rates.
Prepares new offer letters and conducts follow-up with potential employees.
Familiar and comfortable conducting HR type investigations and reporting out facts.
Willingness and ability to travel for recruiting events, investigations, trainings etc.
as needed Position Skills: Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Must have a strong HR generalist background including employee relations, employment law, employee engagement, compensation, performance management, workforce planning, recruitment, and training and development.
Demonstrate a positive attitude and build up Desire to streamline employee-facing processes.
Exceptional communication skills and ability to listen, take notes, and develop a calculated response before acting.
Organized in approach.
Strong follow through on tasks and projects.
Ability to track and monitor key Determination to act with total professionalism.
Understanding of employee time / payroll procedures.
Ability to keep private information private.
Education / Experience Requirements: Excellent history of leadership and team building, driving the development and evolution of high-performance, people-driven cultures.
Bachelor's degree in human resources, organization development, business required.
7 years or more of direct HR experience.
SPHR certification preferred.
Must have strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS, Word, and presentation skills.
2 years of previous management experience a plus Construction Background a plus
