Hiring Department Mining and Explosives Engineering Application Deadline Open Until Filled Full Time / Part Time: Full Time - Benefit Eligible Job Duties: Design, organize, and conduct research in the field of extractive metallurgy of critical materials related to battery production.
Collect, interpret, and analyze engineering test data and summarize findings.
Prepare complete documentations and technical reports of the research activities related to the assigned projects.
Write pee-reviewed journal articles and present work at conferences.
Provide guidance for graduate and undergraduate students as needed Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: PhD in Metallurgical Engineering or a closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to applicants with significant expertise in solvent extraction processes and production of cathode active materials for clean energy applications.
