We are looking for a hard-working, reliable and safety minded individual to join our team as a Kiosk Operator/Weighmaster.
The Kiosk Operator/Weighmaster acts as the primary point of contact with our suppliers and is responsible for the accurate weighing and sorting of scrap metals and provides directions to the proper location for drop off.
You will also be responsible for completing all required documentation and paperwork for the receipt and payment of all materials received.
This is a fast-paced role, which requires excellent communication and coordination skills.
This position may work outside in varying weather conditions, and SA Recycling strictly adheres to all Metals Recycling Business Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.

Responsibilities of a Kiosk Operator/Weighmaster:
Responsible for accurate and courteous weighing of all inbound and outbound trucks in accordance with company policies and procedures, and state guidelines.
Accurately sort and weigh inbound ferrous and nonferrous scrap materials from individual suppliers.
Inspect material and direct supplier to the correct location in the yard for drop off.
Document scrap material and supplier information into ticketing system.
Provide suppliers with an accurate receipt of scrap materials delivered.
Educate, inform, and assist suppliers with required documentation for acceptance of scrap materials.
Completes and submits all required reports in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Coordinate with dispatch to determine driver schedules and direct yard traffic.
Perform basic housekeeping duties in the scale house and public areas to maintain a safe and clean environment for all.
Qualifications of a Kiosk Operator/Weighmaster:
High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience operating a truck scale preferred, but not required.
1 year of customer service experience in the scrap metal or similar industry preferred.
Ability to learn and identify distinct types of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to multitask in a challenging environment.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) language skills a plus.
