*MSW/LCSW Social Worker - Hospice - Full Time - Flexible Schedule* _Alternative Hospice is seeking an experienced and compassionate Social Worker to work with our residents located in the Fenton, MO and surrounding areas.
_ *MSW/LCSW Social Worker for Hospice Job Description:* * Provide emotional and support services for persons in the last stages of life * Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans * Utilize cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to address emotional and behavioral issues.
* Collaborate with medical, nursing and therapy staff to coordinate services for clients.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest coding systems, including ICD-9 and ICD-10, to accurately document client diagnoses and treatment.
*Social Worker for Hospice Experience:* * Master's degree in Social Work * Previous experience working with elderly clients or hospice a plus * Knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and their application in a therapeutic setting.
* Familiarity with coding systems such as ICD-9 and ICD-10 for accurate documentation.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients, families, and other professionals.
