Truck Driver - Class A - Local Day Cab - Teamsters Union

*D&H Trucking* is a family owned and operated trucking company that is looking for a *Class A Truck Driver *to join our team in the Washington, MO area.
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team.
*Job Description:* The primary responsibility of this position is to deliver and pick up palletized freight in a safe and timely manner.
This position will operate a company truck with a valid driver’s license, class A CDL, and DOT Medical card.
*Skills:* * Must have a clean driving record.
* Must have basic computer skills.
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
* Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
* Must be able to drive on gravel roads and in heavy traffic.
* Must be able to operate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jack.
* Previous experience as a driver is required.
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
*Responsibilities:* * Deliver and pick up palletized freight in a safe and timely manner.
* Maintain communication with dispatch.
* Operate company truck with valid driver’s license, class A CDL, DOT Medical card, and have the ability to operate in all states.
* Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
* Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on vehicles.
* Complete and keep organized necessary paperwork.
We are seeking a full-time class A driver.
We offer a low stress position, paid hourly, and prefer a driver with at least 5 years of class A CDL experience.
