Decided to sell my 2017 Esquif Prospecteur 17 canoe in TFormex material.
This beast of a canoe is ideal for downriver and whitewater tripping.
We have paddled it on the Buffalo, Meramec, 11Point and even the John Day River in Oregon.
It can handle up to Class III rapids with ease.
It features 1000 pounds of capacity and weighs 75 pounds.
With 3.
5" of rocker, it is extremely responsive and makes last minute corrections a breeze.
This canoe can handle just about any water conditions you throw at it.
New TFormex Esquif Prospecteurs are $2400 before tax.
You can own one for over 1k off list and only 6 years old.
It has various dings and scratches on it from all our awesome adventures, which have all been meticulously reinforced with GFlex Epoxy.
I have also recently installed kevlar skid plates to reinforce the ends.
It has new seats, thwart, yoke and handles.
She is ready for her next adventure.
Comes with a throw bag, a drybag and yoke pads.
From Esquifs website:
This boat is the workhorse of river expeditions.
It has excellent dryness and carrying capacity in addition to superior whitewater performance.
It is the boat for the great Arctic rivers such as the Nahanni, Mountain and Hood and offers predictability, dryness and stability for short river trips.
It also has excellent cruising speed for flatwater.
This is the perfect compliment to our whitewater touring line, wich includes the Prospecteur 16, the Présage and the Canyon.
