Job Summary
Chris Auffenberg Ford in Washington MO is seeking a full-time experienced Automotive Sales Consultant to join its team in selling new and used cars and light trucks.
As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for building relationships with customers, quickly assessing their automotive needs, and helping them find a car that best suits those needs.
You will be responsible for closing sales in a timely and profitable manner, managing customer paperwork, and answering customer inquiries.

Responsibilities
• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
• Identify customer needs, wants and buying habits
• Present and demonstrate vehicles to customers
• Ensure customer paperwork is complete, accurate, and properly processed
• Utilize customer follow-up systems to foster excellent relationships
• Close sales in a timely and efficient manner
• Ask for referrals and assist in schedule follow-ups
• Thank customers for their business
Requirements
• Proven track record of automotive sales experience
• Excellent negotiation, customer service, and communication skills
• Thorough understanding of automotive industry trends
• Ability to quickly learn new processes and technologies
• Valid driver’s license
