We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Enrollment Management Communications to lead and oversee a talented team of graphic designers and writers.
As the Director, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the team, ensuring the effective development and execution of communication strategies for our graduate and international admissions, as well as undergraduate and transfer admissions.
You will play a critical role in shaping our enrollment management communications and promoting our institution to prospective students.
Additionally, you will be responsible for managing social media channels and fostering engagement with our target audience.
Responsibilities: 1.
Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans that align with the institution's enrollment goals and objectives Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in enrollment management communications, and recommend innovative strategies to enhance recruitment efforts 2.
Team Management: Manage a small team of graphic designers and writers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment Assign and prioritize projects, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional growth and development 3.
Content Development: Collaborate with enrollment management stakeholders to understand their communication needs and develop compelling content Oversee the creation of engaging and persuasive written materials, such as brochures, newsletters, web content, and email campaigns Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels 4.
Graphic Design: Work closely with graphic designers to conceptualize and execute visually appealing and impactful marketing materials Provide guidance on design principles, layouts, and visual storytelling techniques Review and approve final designs to ensure alignment with the institution's brand identity and communication goals 5.
Social Media Management and Engagement: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance enrollment efforts Manage and oversee the institution's social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube Create engaging and relevant content for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with overall communication objectives Monitor social media trends, engagement metrics, and user feedback to continuously optimize content and engagement strategies Foster active engagement and respond to inquiries, comments, and messages in a timely and professional manner Collaborate with the Enrollment Marketing team to integrate social media strategies with overall marketing efforts 6.
Enrollment Marketing: Collaborate with the Enrollment Marketing team to integrate communication strategies with overall marketing efforts Contribute to the development of digital marketing campaigns, social media strategies, and multimedia content Analyze campaign performance data and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement 7.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including admissions staff, faculty, and administrators Coordinate with various departments to gather accurate information and insights for communication materials Collaborate with external vendors and agencies as needed, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 6 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications Master's degree Minimum of 6 years of experience in enrollment management communications or a similar role Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy Proficiency in graphic design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite Knowledge of higher education admissions processes and familiarity with enrollment management best practices Experience in managing and engaging with social media platforms Ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders Experience with data Comments We value the uniqueness of every individual and strive to ensure each person’s success.
