Position Title: Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate

The Role
Be the "face" of the company! Build a career and establish relationships through friendly interaction and service with customers and co-workers alike.
It allows you to be physically active and mindfully busy, and to provide a great customer experience by providing great customer service! Your primary role will be assisting at the Counter servicing customers; which entails taking orders; providing information; entering and releasing tickets; answering the phones; pulling the customer order; resolving issues; following up with customers.
Your willingness to take on any assignment necessary to take care of the customer will help to separate us from our competition.
In addition to your primary role, your effective contribution in our warehouse contributes to creating and maintaining a safe work environment for all associates and building customer confidence in our capabilities.
Additional duties may include receiving and putting away material; doing cycle counts, backing-up the delivery driver by making deliveries to job sites as needed.
All associates contribute to maintaining a neat and organized facility.

The Details
Desired skills and abilities:
Knowledge of electrical and/or plumbing products is preferred.
Good attention to detail.
Able to effectively juggle multiple tasks and responsibilities
Strong problem solving skills
Customer service attitude, friendly demeanor
Effective time management, organization skills.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must have or be able to obtain, a Class E (Chauffer's) license
Good driving record.
Ability to exude professionalism, tact, diplomacy and sensitivity when dealing with customers, employees, internal associates at all levels.
Capable of preserving confidential or sensitive information.
Team player, able to work well under pressure.
Acceptable computer aptitude.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to stand, sit, walk; use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel, reach or carry.
Occasionally required climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Frequently required to lift up to 25 lbs.
Occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to safely tolerate heat in the summer and cold in the winter.
Regularly required to talk and hear; read and identify numbers
Regularly required to apply sound reasoning and logic in performing daily tasks.
Required to be able to safely operate material handling equipment including a forklift, pallet jack, wire-cutting machine.
