Join the Union Furniture & Flooring family as an Interior Design and Furniture Sales Associate! We are seeking a creative and customer-focused individual to provide personalized interior design services to our valued clients.
As part of our team, you will play a key role in transforming spaces and making homes more beautiful and comfortable.
This position can be full-time or part-time depending on the candidate.
We have the best retail hours.
Monday - Friday 9 am - 5:30 pm, Saturday 9 am - 4 pm, Closed Sundays.
*Responsibilities:*
* Conduct in-depth consultations with clients in their homes to understand their design preferences, lifestyle, and space requirements.
* Provide expert advice on furniture selection, layout, color schemes, and overall design concepts to enhance clients' living spaces.
* Create customized design proposals and presentations based on client needs and preferences.
* Collaborate with clients to choose furniture pieces, accessories, and decor that align with their style and budget.
* Cultivate strong relationships with clients to foster repeat business and positive word-of-mouth referrals.
* Work on the furniture sales floor when not with design clients or working on presentations.
*Qualifications:*
* Experience in interior design and furniture sales.
* Strong knowledge of design principles, color theory, and furniture styles.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Sales-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
*Education and Experience:*
* Previous experience in furniture sales and interior design roles.
