Job Description
Salem Wood Products, a subsidiary of Independent Stave Company, is now hiring full-time positions for all shifts.
We have a variety of manufacturing, material handler, and general labor roles available on all shifts at our facility.
A typical new hire can quickly earn $17 to $20 an hour, depending on the shift at Salem Wood Products.
If you are a highly motivated and self-driven individual, you will perform a variety of tasks in the process of making white oak staves used in the manufacturing of white oak barrels for the wine and spirits industry.
We provide competitive pay and benefits, including piece-rate or production-based pay opportunities.
Compensation: $15.
00-$17.
50 to start.
Hourly raises and bonus production pay are available after 30 days.
Day-Shift Schedule (6:30 am - 5 pm)
Night-Shift Schedule (6:30 pm - 5 am)

Essential Functions
Keep up with fast-paced and production line speeds
Safely operate equipment used in the various manufacturing processes
Working with co-workers and supervisors in a cooperative and respectful manner
Dependable and have excellent attendance
Responsible for keeping work areas clean, orderly, and free of hazards.
Ability to work in various body positions; bending, stooping, standing, and the ability to have coordinated movements of pulling, pushing, grasping, reaching, and bilateral arm movements.
