Job Summary
Chris Auffenberg Ford is seeking a motivated and experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team of Service Professionals.
This position is ideal for a candidate who is enthusiastic, highly customer service oriented and a team player.
Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, tire installation, diagnosing customer vehicle problems and completing service/repair work in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, flushes, and other automotive services
Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and effectively
Inspect vehicles for necessary repairs and services
Communicate clearly and effectively with service advisors, parts personnel and technicians
Utilize diagnostic software to identify common vehicle problems
Provide accurate estimates of repair and service times
Requirements
High school diploma/GED
Automotive service technicians must pass background check and drug screening
3-5 years of experience in automotive service preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work quickly and accurately
Must possess valid driver's license
ASE certification preferred
