*JOB DESCRIPTION INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN*
We are a growing company, currently seeking hard-working, dependable individuals to join Grimco.
Grimco is a national wholesale sign supply manufacturer and distributor that has been around for over 145 years with 50+ locations in the United States, 8 in Canada, and recent expansion into the United Kingdom.
Industrial Maintenance Technicians are critical members of our team, ensuring that our manufacturing equipment runs smoothly and efficiently.
If you have a critical attention for detail and organization, this challenging position is right for you! *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:* · Perform maintenance duties and responsibilities.
· Read technical manuals to understand equipment and controls.
· Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
· Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, using precision measuring, and testing instruments.
· Provide emergency repairs of production equipment during production.
· Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
· Removes defective parts by dismantling devices, using hoists, cranes, and power tools.
· Controls downtimes by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques.
· Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
· Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
*PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:* · Previous experience with machine maintenance.
· Bachelors Degree or equivalent in a relative field of study.

Industrial engineering) · Ability to interpret and implement OSHA standards for the facility.
· Troubleshooting equipment with Allen Bradley software (this experience is a plus, but not required).
· Attention to detail is critical.
· Workers should be able to reassemble large, complex machines after finishing a repair.
· Accurate in work – attention to detail.
Flexible duties.
· Safety conscious at all times.
· Clean-Cut appearance and ability to interact with individuals from all backgrounds.
· Strong work ethic – dedicated to getting the job done.
· Reliable transportation to and from work (must have a valid driver’s license).
· Ability to take and pass pre-employment drug screening test.
Plus, clean criminal and work background histories.
· Ability to work 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday, with flexibility before and after start and end time.
*PHYSICAL DEMANDS:* · Ability to lift and move up to 75lbs.
· Ability to stand and walk for a full workday.
· Ability to repeatedly bend, twist, squat, kneel, and lift (both lateral and overhead).
