The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for performing highly diversified duties.
You will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems, and processes.
You will also support the Maintenance Manager to achieve the plant’s business goals and objectives and work with the maintenance team to improve equipment and the facility.
Key Responsibility:
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Perform/assist mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines as required.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
Track and maintain electronic records on all maintenance and repairs to machines and facility.
Assist Maintenance Director with managing maintenance budget and spending.
Set working hours for department and obtain approval through Maintenance Director
Direct and delegate workload to maintenance personnel.
Manage projects to assure they are on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred.
Working knowledge of basic electricity, intermediate welding and the fundamentals of air logic
Knowledge of industrial power systems and industrial & control system wiring
Prior experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint; particularly with reporting.
